Recently I have been given two jobs that I am ecstatic about.

1. Zoogma's Tuscaloosa area promoter.
         This job is non-paid but gives me a reason to go out and meet random people by handing out fliers, vocally  promoting the show, and finding places to hang up fliers. I recently went to Tuscaloosa's premier house party, "YES PARTY" , and passed out plenty of fliers to get the the swarm of word-of-mouth started. After the show on Thursday at The Dixie on the Strip, I'll let you know how it all turned out!

2. Marketing Director for YakkOnline
         YakkOnline is a Film & Gaming website started by Alabama students Carlos Estrada & Connor Simpson. They started the site at the beginning of 2011 with a bi-weekly podcast that speaks about everything entertainment and video gaming. After a month, and nearly 2K hits to their sit, they are now ramping up advertising to hopefully make a name for themselves in the south as a credible gaming and news source.

If you are a gamer or are interested in films, then head on over to www.yakkonline.com and peruse the site. One mentionable thing you should check out is Connor Simpson's "Let's Play" of Dead Space 2 on Yakk's Youtube Channel.

For the non-music lovers out there I have something for you as well. A video I found on the tubes of you and found quite interesting and very thought provoking. A great video to show to a friend or two and have a good talk.

The animal kingdom has many differences within its spectrum: no opposable thumbs (except primates), no souls (according some religions), and no monetary value system. However, one characteristic that humans share with our neighboring animal friends is compassion.

If the internet has shown us only one thing, it is that any one can become popular for doing quite literally any thing. The next video is a prime example.This ordinary girl makes what i'm sure she thought was a stupid video at the time into something that 11.5 million people have seen and unknowingly became a fan of.

The last web item that I will share with you today is something that seems to be a relatively simple task but most of us have a hard time doing. In our modern day & age, with so much going on, it is hard to sit still and do nothing. ADD and ADHD have "plagued" our youth with impulsivity and apparently makes them incapable of siting still. My personal belief is that ADD and ADHD are relatively made up diseases to farm out pills to new generations.

If you feel that you may have ADD or ADHD, then you might find this website a bit annoying.

This brand new site operated by founder Connor Simpson & Carlos Estrada has recently started doing a "Let's Play" feature of the new survival-horror game Dead Space 2. Reflection of Humanity

Humanity is water. Ever evolving, ever changing. Arguments can be made that fluidity is what humans possess that allows us to stand apart from other species. We adapt, shift, and change to better our own situations. 

Today I watched a video that ultimately describes humans evolution into the internet age. How our actions online are potentially morphing our ideals and beliefs into a more unified world. This 'swarm' of intelligence to ideas, articles, blogs, websites, and relevant information is bringing humans together in an entirely new way.

Gone are the days of humans wondering "is there anyone out there similar to me" or exclaiming "no one 'gets' me!". With a click of your mouse you can be connected to city-sized community online with people sharing the same exact interests as you. Whether that be hula-hooping, music production, bicycling, exercising, or any number of other hobbies.

There is no race online, no skin color portrayed via a comment or bulletin post. No creed is labeled either, nor is gender unless specified by the commenter. I hope this blind integration of cultures will one day bring about a unifying voice heard around the world. One that screams "we are all the same!"
